Speaking at a side-event at the United Nations, Mike Pompeo has announced that the United States is now certain that Syria used chlorine against its own population during its operations in the Idlib province in May 2019. He declined to state how they are sure of this, and did not provide any evidence…as usual.
This is garbage…utterly predictable nonsense. The reality is that they are desperate to prevent the full liberation of Idlib from al-Qaeda & the alphabet soup of its offshoots...so this is the latest, and perhaps the last chance to persuade Trump to commit to a full scale bombing campaign before Syria finally rids itself of NATO funded terrorists. Meanwhile, sanctions have been increased on Russia, in response to its support for the Syrian Arab Army. This was the response of the Russian Foreign Ministry:
"US has exposed its open support for terrorism. For Russia, sanctions are nothing new. Fighting terrorists in Syria will continue despite US patronising them"
To be clear, I agree entirely with the Russian analysis.

And finally, Pompeo lying through his teeth…stoking up his war on Iran. In the last 40 years, the list of countries invaded or bombed by Washington includes: Grenada, Lebanon, Panama, Iraq, Yugoslavia, Pakistan, Somalia, Libya, Syria, Mali, and Yemen. Those invaded or bombed by Iran…Zero.
