Some of you will remember the 1960s satirical current affairs show ‘That was the week that was’, or ‘TW3’ as it was affectionately known. Fronted by David Frost, it provided an early platform for comics like John Cleese, Ronnie Barker & Ronnie Corbett, who on one show appeared together in ‘The Class Sketch’, which you can find here:

Anyway…this isn’t that. It is, however, a look back at what’s been happening this week, viewed through the prism of my tweets…in other words it’s a summary of the events that I’ve been moved to rant about…
I’m writing this on Saturday so that subscribers will receive the email on Sunday morning…the traditional time when busy people catch up on the week’s events via the Sunday papers. Hopefully, something here will trigger a desire to dig a bit deeper into a particular subject. I sincerely hope so…the people I take to task in these tweets would definitely prefer you not to. They deserve to be disappointed.

On Saturday in Venezuela, US stooge, Juan Guaido made his latest attempt to ignite a coup against President Maduro. There was a much larger rally in support of Maduro…which of course, did not make the news or the Twitter feed of the US Secretary of State:
I also took the opportunity to express my sentiments to our current Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition:
Also on Venezuela, the Vice President, Mike Pence used Twitter to encourage the Venezuelan military to turn on their own government. American politicians do this kind of thing a lot…whine about foreign meddling whilst meddling with foreigners.
On a different note, Prince Andrew’s interview brought it home how utterly disconnected our ‘elites’ are. I’ll come back to the Epstein element later on:

One of the first acts of the US puppet in Bolivia was to expel the Cuban doctors who were there at the invitation of the deposed President Morales - the Cuban Healthcare System is vastly superior. Here’s Mike Pompeo accusing Cuba of the ‘trafficking of Doctors’. It’s hard to describe just how vile this man is:
Meanwhile, the State Department’s Morgan Ortagus was waxing lyrical about the 10th anniversary of the death of Sergei Magnitsky. My version is slightly different:
If you want to know more about this…this documentary is superb:
On a lighter note, if you’re a fan of ‘Battlestar Galactica’ you may appreciate this:
Back to Bolivia, here is US Democrat frontrunner Elisabeth Warren going along with the administration’s narrative. In my view Warren would be a total disaster as President. Just another puppet for the Neocons, she’d be even easier to control than Obama.
And finally on Monday, we had the announcement that the US has decided to ignore international law and ‘legalise’ Israel’s occupation of the West Bank of the River Jordan. Dress it up how you will, it’s land theft.

Anyone who follows Donald Trump on Twitter will know that he spends a lot of his time bragging or whining. Here he is combining both:
I recommend you read this article in full. As far as I’m concerned this isn’t ‘news’ it’s vindication of a truth that was obvious a year ago:
Sweden have dropped the bullshit ‘rape’ allegations against Assange…again. Washington have clearly told them that since they have him locked up in Belmarsh jail, they are no longer needed:
‘Democracy’…what do you want it to mean Mr Secretary…
Wednesday 20th November 2019
‘Freedom & Security’…what do you want it to mean Mr Secretary…
On Wednesday Prince Pervy announced that he’d like another bash at convincing us all of his innocence…somehow I don’t think the Queen will sign off on this one…
Did you know that ‘nobody is above the law’? Neither did I:

Jon Sopel ‘Missing the point’. For ‘the point’ please see ‘The Quickening’
The Senator for Florida, Marco Rubio, is concerned about ‘Human rights’…by which he means ‘this is my justification for screwing with China’
My podcast with Tim Price and Paul Rodriguez:

Now, here’s Mike Pompeo switching his attention to Iran…he’s such a supportive guy…he cares about the whole world…
He’s committed to ‘inalienable human rights’…
I promised you I’d come back to Epstein. I’m not going to talk about whether he committed suicide…of course he bloody didn’t…I want to talk about the suppression of truth…
You know…the suppression of truth…
Saturday 23rd November. 2019
You know…the suppression of truth…
After an absence of 5 days, Pompeo went back to attacking Cuba…who have had the total audacity to mention that Washington, having spent years trying to topple its government…are still trying to topple its government:
Of course I can’t end this without mentioning the election…so let me say that if things get tough for you this week…if you feel like screaming at the state of British politics …just remember that we are in the middle of a re-alignment…and remind yourself that at least you’re not Jo Swinson…it works for me.
And finally…John Bolton is back…
Have a good week.
