As the liberation of Idlib by the Syrian Arab Army and the Russian Airforce progresses, the media will be presenting events selectively. and in language that supports the US/NATO narrative. This will go something like this:
Assad is ‘invading’ the ‘rebel held’ Idlib with the help of the Russians, who have no business being there. Reports from Idlib suggest that Assad is deliberately targeting the civilian population
There are a few things wrong with this narrative - all of it. Assad is the Head of State of a sovereign nation who is liberating the Idlib province with the assistance of an ally who has been invited into the country. The ‘rebels’ are mainly from outside Syria, from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey…and yes…the United Kingdom. These ‘rebels’ are members of organisations such as Al-Qaeda and the Nusra Front. They are Islamic Fundamentalists, mainly Wahhabis, and they make a habit of beheading and crucifying people. I have seen video footage, which I will not share here, of these ‘rebels’ cutting the throat of a young soldier, then sawing off his head, whilst still alive. These are amongst the people who the media refers to as ‘rebels’, people my government is attempting to shelter from the SAA. They hate Christians, Alawites, non-fundamentalist Muslims, and anyone in fact, who would prefer a secular government.
In contrast with Russia’s involvement, the United States has a number of illegal bases in Syria, held against international law, with no invitation from the Syrian government. The remaining ISIS enclaves are sheltered behind US lines. The largest of these enclave is to the East of Deir Ezzor.
I have already mentioned the likelihood of a false-flag chemical attack in previous posts, so I will not repeat that here. What I want to warn you about today is this: I expect there to be a barrage of media reports suggesting that Assad is deliberately targeting civilians. Deliberately killing people you would like to continue to govern after the fighting is over is not a smart idea unless you are an insane monster…Washington would like you to believe he is…I’m suggesting to you that he isn’t.
The truth is this: terrorists use human shields - that is what they do - ALWAYS. The scum that are holed up in Idlib are worst than most - they will be putting civilians into harm’s way DELIBERATELY in order to use world opinion to call for US airstrikes. As I have said before, this would be incredibly dangerous. Russia does not have all that equipment and manpower over there on a training exercise - they are deadly serious about preventing another failed state in their region.
My warning is this: when the US took back Raqqa in Iraq from ISIS, the US claimed, and the media reported, truthfully I am sure…that ISIS were using civilians as human shields. This time it will be presented as the evil Assad deliberately killing his own people - don’t buy it.
