“The United States does not and has not engaged in indiscriminate surveillance of anyone, including ordinary European citizens.”
Translation: "We concentrate on discriminate surveillance of extraordinary European citizens, which, to be entirely transparent, means anyone we fancy having a look at. But I repeat and I want to make this very clear, we have not had sexual relations with that data".
