As if Jeb Bush would ever use his name for personal gain...

In response to an FT article by Demetri Sevastapulo on 1st July 2015, entitled 'South Korean weapons producer courted Jeb Bush'

“Governor Bush had zero involvement in any government contract received by this company and did not advocate in any way for it,” she said.

She's right of course. No self-respecting arms manufacturer, oil sheikh or government services provider would be so crude as to ask a President's brother to advocate for a government contract. "Here is your fee and please give our 'respects' to your brother the President" would be a more traditional approach.

As for the Governor disclosing that he earned less than Chelsea Clinton, his greater restraint is only to be expected. The Bushes are old school - long established power peddling families tend to be less desperate than the Nouveau Fleece.

What a heart warming election strategy - "Vote for me, I'm less greedy than the Clintons". My dog Rufus is less greedy than the Clintons, and he has the added quality of being totally up front about his greed. Vote for Rufus, he's running for President.
