I didn't realise that Mr Xi was such a comedic historian...He must be aware of Maggie's quip that the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money; but he may not be aware of another anonymous quip that a socialist economy is best run by a single central planner and his dog. The central planner should be an economist but the dog's career is optional. Essentially the economist's job is to feed the dog, and the dog's job is to bite the economist if he goes anywhere near the economy. Mr Xi should go for the best and enquire if Professor Krugman has a dog.
